I never got it to work with either X.1.x or X.2.x, VW9, so that machine is staying OS9. As I said though, a few people have claimed success with the 800PS description file. Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted July 16, 2003 Share Posted July 16, 2003 It's the same driver for both of the printers. It also uses the same driver for PS and NON PS. On Windows, not only is it the same driver for both models (and a few others), and the same driver for PS and Non PS (hpgl 2), it includes the Windows certified driver and the AutoCad print driver AND the RTL driver. There are a few problems with the printer overall, there are some issues when printing to a handful of applications -VW being one of them. This specific problem is rare under the Mac platform. OS 9 shouldn't have a problem printing and neither should OS 10. The only time OS 10 should have a problem is when printer default settings have been used in a VW document, bad fonts on the machine exist or there is an illegal object is present in the file.
