joey altalef
Hi I'm working on a file that has like 150 classes. Everytime I want to apply a class to an object, it takes me some time to find the class. Is there a way to locate a class in the navigation palette rapidly? thanks joey Vectorworks 2016 Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
If not already in place, would a class hierarchy help? Rename related classes with a dash. eg if there are several concrete classes, change them to something like: Conc-Curb Conc-Walk Conc-Footing Conc-Stemwall Conc-Floor1 Conc-Floor2 These would all collapse to a single entry of Conc in the OIP & Nav Palette Class lists. Hover or click to expand a sidebar showing the individual classes. There are wish list threads for class folders and class search. -B Quote Link to comment
Phil hunt
If you go to your class list and you know the name of the class you can type in the first few letters and it should take you to the class or somewhere near Quote Link to comment
