Tile - local mapping?

Hi,

I was hoping that the textures would change with these nodes but it Seems I have a bit to learn about them, but I understand that these will do the trick.

If you lose the texture just reselect the Texture node and select on in the OIP. If you change the scale it seems to only change the texture and not the scale.

One of the Brains Trust will let us know.

Thanks in anticipation.

The rectangle in the file is how each of the side rectangles should appear. I've been just using the tile in a rectangle. Local Mapping keeps the tile from stretching and twisting. I've also used it as a wall component as it follows the wall automatically.

The long story (see post on object questions) is that I'm building a more realistic curtain object. One that does many things standard Softgoods objects don't. I'm hoping to leverage the Softgoods objects for what they do well and so I can still use them where they work.

I'm starting to think the simple way is to take the object that the Tile is built from, and repeat it as needed.
