Duplicate X coordinate to User Field

I am looking for suggestions on how to automatically duplicate the X/Y coordinates for a Lighting Device in Obj info for the creation of hang tapes. Units with - (negative) X coordinates are stage left and units with + (positive) X coordinates are stage right.

For example, X = 1’6” and User 1 automatically updates with SL 1’-6”.

I have been somewhat successful creating a formula in Excel that does a basic conversion, but it would be great to have all of the absolute data in the Vectorworks file before exporting/editing the final layout (Mail Merge in Word on 2”x4” labels) before printing.
