AlanW
Is the Pop Back Node used simply to remove the extra count that the program uses which starts at 0, so that when you input 3 copies you get 3 and not 4? Also in the Filter Rectangle Wrapper in the same network you use a Get Object type Node and reference it to the Object types. Why do you filter this down to the specific shape.? Stephen Sorenson
It's useful sometimes to look at the python descriptions for some of these commands, as pop comes from the list structure command in python. So pop back actually removes the last item in the list and the key is returns it (so it gives you the value). So what you get back is a new shorter list and the last value in the list. The list could be a list of points, text values, whatever. https://docs.python.org/3.1/tutorial/datastructures.html Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Hi, Thanks, I did look at this and as I have very little programming knowledge what seems such a simple thing to a programmer just draws a blank with me. I need to learn and understand Python I guess but I though Marionette would allow a NOOB to visual program. Thanks for commenting as this is all needed to see how best to move forward with Marionette for everyone. Quote Link to comment
