ChrisA
Hi I am having an issue with rendering and I'm stumped. When i apply a texture to an object, in this case the flooring component of my slab, it renders black when in interior fast or final mode or any mode. It is fine in openGL and the objects I have placed from the resource pallet render fine. I have opened older files and they are doing the same as well as a new file with only one object in it. the texture doesn't seem to matter either. I have tried every combination of settings I can, in the rendering styles but no luck. any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Copy/Paste that slab all by itself into a fresh new doc (not a template file) and test the renders. Build up a box around it and put a light of some kind inside. Some ideas: Fill color? Controlled by class of the slab? Objects need a fill for textures to work. Slab in correct class? Toggle Fill By Class option in Attribute Palette. Look at the Render>Other tab in Edit Class of the slab? Disable Sketch? Set the Sketch pull down to None. Texture scale? Multiple coincident slabs? Delete all but one. Might be worth replacing w/ a new slab w/ intended class assignment and texture. Esp is things are converted from earlier version. -B Quote Link to comment
ChrisA
Thanks Benson I changed the sketch mode to none and that cured my ills. Quote Link to comment
