Don't exit from a VP when editing items

In some cases when one edits a symbol for example. Upon exiting the Edit one is returned to the Sheet view not the Design Layer or the Annotation Layer. I would like to be able to turn this behaviour off.

I would expect the edit mode to simply return you to the view you were in when you began the edit, is this not the case for you? In a few tests here its working alright, but if its moving you to a different location after editing the symbol I would actually consider that a bug.

Sorry, it may not be exiting a symbol edit but another similar function. I'll try a few edits of different functions and report back
