Anders
Hallo! I'm sorry to say , but problems with Dongle(USB)still remains. When the computer goes to sleep it "forgets" that there is a dongle in the usb-port, and VW will shut down. Anders Osbeck Quote Link to comment
Guest
That's an Apple issue that I am not sure the status of. Obviously when a drive or port goes to sleep, such as the USB drive, it loses connection to anything it is connected to. It's recommended by apple to not put the computer to sleep when away from the computer for this very reason. You can contact Apple to check on the status of that issue. This is not the same as the crashing wiht the USB device. Applications would crash when a USB device was connected such as a printer, dongle, scanner, digital camera, memory stick, etc. That problem was addressed in the latest version of the OS.
