ida
Hi, Is it impossible to have live, NOT referenced wall styles in our projectfile/workingfile? It is a pain and a big source for mistakes when you have to say ok to a lot of wall and slab style changes everytime you do save and commit. This comes up even if you have not done any changes to the styles. Have tried to break the references and then they are live in the file, but when you reopen the file they are agian in italic (referenced) We have deleted the original reference file after we changed from 2015 to 2016. We thought that it would be a good idea to have everything in the projectfile, but i guess not. I guess it does not work because you cant "check out" a wall style. Does anyone have a good solution to this? Ida Quote Link to comment
ida
Hi, Here is what we figured out with our vectorworks distributor. You can not break a reference to a wall style and get it in the projectfile through your workingfile. You have to create a normal vectorworksfile from your workingfile and break the references and get everythig into the file. Then make a new projectfile and replace the old one. So remember this when going from .vwx to .vxp (projectsharing) Ida Quote Link to comment
