benboggs
For some reason all of my dimensions in all of my detail viewports on my details page have gone crazy. See attached image Dim Error. The Attached image called Dim Correct is what they look like in the design layer I have set up for my 1"=1'-0" Dims. Everything is correct in terms of viewport scale, text sizes, proper dim scale etc. EDIT: Also - you can see the leader line arrows are huge as well. Not sure what caused the viewports to all of a sudden mess up the tick marks on the dims. Thanks for the help. Edited January 5, 2016 by benboggs Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Select the VP and open the OIP Advanced Properties menu near bottom of OIP. Adjust the Marker scale. Try 0.25 as a staring point. The arrows (markers) are different because VP is different scale from Design Layer. -B Quote Link to comment
benboggs
That works. But why did it happen to begin with? The viewport scale is 1"=1'-0". The design layer scale is 1"=1'-0". So I am not sure why the marker scale when set to Automatic does not work. The custom scale is grayed out as a 4. So the markers are 4 times bigger. I had to just change them to be 1 and it's fine. But what caused the drawing to do this? It was fine from initial set up through several weeks, but yesterday it just decided to not be right. Thanks for your help Benson. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Not sure why things would change on their own. But glad is working. If this continues to happen with new files it could be: • misreading of the layer or VP scale settings • something amiss in your template file if you use a template • problem with geometry converted from earlier versions of vwx • problem with geometry imported from other software, if there is any • problem with referenced geometry, if there is any • an unintended click or keystroke by you or others working the file • a bug - don't hesitate to submit via the bug submit link on right side of this Community Board window (takes you to tech - just go ahead and submit it) • or just something we will never be able to track down -B Quote Link to comment
