Christiaan
I'm about to start using the Uniclass 2015 tables for the first time for notes on a drawing and I'm wondering which level in the hierarchy to break them down into Sections in the Notes Manager. For example an aluminium downpipe product classification is Pr_65_52_63_04 (which would be my Note Description), with the following hierarchy: Pr - Products 65 - Services distribution products 52 - Pipe, tube and fitting products 63 - Pipes and fittings 04 - Aluminium rainwater pipe and fittings My initial thought is to break the Sections down into one of the upper two levels of classification: Pr Products or Pr_65 Service distribution products Any thoughts? shorter
Christiaan Did you get anywhere with this? Given that Pr and Ss tables tend to go beyond simply the Group and Sub-Group codes I would limit it to Pr_65 Services distribution products as then 'Section' but then expand to Aluminium rainwater pipe and fittings for the Note Description and Pr_65_52_63_04 for the Note Text However, all this can be avoided IF you use T-Sheet References.
