marksw
Running V10 in OSX when clicking the icon in the dock a blank document is always opened. How can I stop this from happening? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Hi Mark, This is totally normal behavior. If you would rather open an existing document (like a template?), just put the document in a convenient place (like a folder dragged to the top of your "home" folder) and double click it, or drag it to the VW icon in the dock. marksw
Although I appreciate your reply, what I would like to happen is for the application to become active so I can then navigate to the document I would like. Any additional assistance would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
JC
Hi. I think that is native for MacOS X, because in Freehand 10 it happens the same. Quote Link to comment
Guest
When you click on an application to start, a file is opened. In the case of VW, the default.sta file is used. You cannot alter or change this default file. If you want vw to open using a specific file, go to the file and double click on it. If VW 10 was the most recent VW application installed, the file will open with that application. Or you can go to FIle Open to select the file once VW has opened. You will of course, need to close the Untitled 1 doc if you do not want to use it. Quote Link to comment
