Rotating hatches

You may already know this but I didn't.

Just discovered one thing with rotating hatches, you know how they always stay horizontal and the polygon rotates, well if you use the attribute mapping on it and stretch just a bit it seems to lock the hatch in and you can rotate the polygon and the hatch goes with it. You can still change the polygon and the hatch stays the same rotation.

Hi Alan,

Yes attributes scaling is a very handy tool for both 2D and 3D work. I am surprised how many people are not aware of it capabilities.

PS You know you can also use attribute mapping to scale hatches and textures, right? Eg. You can use a 100x100 tile hatch and scale it for any size square tile.

Cheers.
