MattG
Am I missing the ability to use the select similar tool on spotlight lighting device instruments to select all of one fixture type? Is there a setting to do that somewhere? Just throwing that out there is case someone knows the trick because right now I am not seeing it. Matt Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Select similar tool can't see field values in databases, so it won't do what you want. 2 options: 1. Spotlight>Find and Modify…> Find All Light whose Inst Type = _______ OK 2. Get Sam Jones' tools. http://autoplotvw.com Hundreds of short cuts for things you do every day. Worth every penny of the very small number of pennies he charges. hth mk Quote Link to comment
MattG
Thanks Michael Yeah I definitely use option 1 constantly. I was just thinking there should be a way to set the select similar tool to act that way. Wasn't sure if there was something I was missing or not. Thanks, Matt Quote Link to comment
Charlie Winter
I second Michael. The AutoPlot tools/macros, once configured with your favorite workspace shortcuts shave hours off drafting. C Quote Link to comment
Benjamin Weill
I'm gonna throw my hat in the ring too: AutoPlot is total a lifesaver. Aside from the find and modify functions, "Copy Altered Label Legends" is amazing! Without a doubt, it's worth the asking price. Edited November 27, 2015 by Benjamin Weill Quote Link to comment
