CarlJdP
Was trying to re-define a viewport crop on a sheet-layer with right click > edit viewport crop. I selected the old crop shape the hit [del] when I got a popup saying: "Vectorworks encountered an Improper" with the only option to click [OK] The popup window style was also different than the normal Windows style, more like a command-line like font. Clicking [OK] does nothing, box just stays there, and no other part of the VW window is clickable, so I can't even close the program. After about 5 min the normal "Vectorworks 2016 Application has stopped working" popped up? Was working on a VW2015 file in my new VW2016 SP1. Anyone else ever encountered a weird error like this? 1 Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted November 12, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 12, 2015 Does this happen each time you attempt to do that to that specific file, or does it behave differently after restarting Vectorworks once it crashed? Quote Link to comment
AustinDesignInc
Same error has popped up on me several times. The last time I was trying to undo a rotated wall (CTRL + L). Also a similar popup with no way out, "A required resource was unavailable" (this one when moving, by dragging, a wall. 1 Quote Link to comment
Andy Broomell
This happened to me last night while editing a Viewport Crop. Quote Link to comment
RickR
I just had it show up trying to edit a page border object. No problems after restarting, with a backup file. Quote Link to comment
