Patrick Winkler
In this example you can find a node that returns a spectrum of colors and a Wrapper for creating random 3d Points. Saturation and Brightness can be changed in the OIP. regards Edited November 3, 2015 by Patrick Winkler Quote Link to comment
DomC
Hi Patrick Very nice example. This could be a very suitable and classic example to use for teaching classes. Thanks for sharing Dom Quote Link to comment
Patrick Winkler
thanks, I have optimized it: If you don't want to get a rainbow you can set the start-hue and stop-hue value to your personal taste. So you can define shades of green for example. Take a look into these links if you don't know what 'hue' is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HSL_and_HSV http://colorizer.org/ And a option for reversing the range has been added. regards Quote Link to comment
Patrick Winkler
The new slider-nodes have been integraded today. Here is a demonstration: Color_RangeVideo.mov Color_Spectrum_V3_1_v2017.vwx 2 Quote Link to comment
AlanW
@Patrick WinklerHi, Patrick, nice but I think you need to limit a few of the values to make it idiot proof. Like me. Quote Link to comment
Patrick Winkler
@Alan Woodwell No Panic. The arc 's are idiot proof you just have to copy and paste the nodes for checking the value. Quote Link to comment
