Jbieber
I have a selection of mcd files from 1997 that are too old to open with my version of Vectorworks. Does anybody run an older version that can still open older mcd files? https://www.dropbox.com/s/wh33ca7dg6v27ff/Streetcar%20ACC%2097%20FOH.zip?dl=0 Quote Link to comment
Art V
I've been able to convert all drawings but one to Minicad 8, which Vectorworks should be able to open. I'll send you a PM with a download link. Quote Link to comment
lp627
I know this thread is over a year old, but I have exactly this same problem and am wondering if anyone has a solution. I am an archivist and actually just want to produce a stable file, like a pdf from these .mcd files - they don't need to be manipulated in VectorWorks in any way. Thanks for any help or guidance you can offer. Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted February 8, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 8, 2017 Depends, what version were the MCD files created in? We can usually convert from versions as far back as Minicad 7. Quote Link to comment
MullinRJ
I can go back to MC+2.0 and bring it forward, if you like. Raymond Quote Link to comment
