To kick things off, here are a set of introductory Subdivision tutorials: These guides start off by explaining the various modes of the tool as well as their multiple functions. Then, we walk you through step by step creating a tent shape, something notoriously difficult to achieve quickly in prior versions, finishing up with modeling the Panton chair by Vitra design. I hope you find these tutorials enough to give you a firm idea of how to use this tool and get the shapes you're looking to create out of it.
