Bryan_dup1
There isn't a quick easy answer to what you described. If you have VW version 9 or 10 go and need to make a generic contour see this area of this web site and use the 3d power tools to make a surface. http://www.nemetschek.net/3Dpowerpack/qtexamples.html If you have Renderworks or similar render program, you could apply a grass texture to this contour. Guest
Or, if you have contour lines and have Landmark or Architect, you can create a DTM. This will create a 2d and 3d symbol. If you edit the symbol and ungroup the group, you can apply a grass texture to the polygons. Exit the symbol and render. You will have grass then. Quote Link to comment
stephka
hi thanks for your help. Just how do you make contours? thanks Quote Link to comment
Guest
Use the polyline tool to draw a contour. Then either convert it to a 3d polygon and give it a z height or use the 2d polys to 3d contour command in Architect/Landmark. You'll create one line for each contour. Quote Link to comment
