Alora
My Epsom 1520 has started printing plans with wavy lines - they look hand drawn! I have had the printer cleaned, the driver reinstalled, and the print heads realigned, to no avial. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
Bryan_dup1
If you're running on a Mac, get the Gimpprint driver and use it instead of the one Epson provides http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php3 I have a Photo 1200. Quote Link to comment
Alora
Katie, The DPI is already set at 360 - the preferred resolution. I have been using the Epsom printer 1520 with VectorWorks 8.5.2. on a Power Mac G3 for 4 years & haven't encountered this problem until recently.Any other suggestions? Thanks, Alora Quote Link to comment
Guest
Oi VW 8 you say? That is becuase there is an object, arc or circle outside of the print boundary border. Make all layers active, select all and fit to objects. You should see an arc or circle outside of the grey print boundary border. If you delete this object(s), the problem should be fixed. This was a known bug in VW 8. It was fixed due to application accurancy changes as of VW 9 and all subsequent versions. [ 03-27-2003, 01:33 PM: Message edited by: Katie ] Quote Link to comment
Guest
Alora, It is probably because of the DPI in the Print Setup or Page setup. If you have the DPI set to 72, change it to 300 or 600 and see if that makes a difference. If it doesn't, please include the OS and version of VW you are having the problem with. It is a simple fix depending on the above information. Quote Link to comment
