zoomer
A small Problem, found that the stairs preview in Stairs Settings > General does not appear in OpenGL : when Classes set to active only. Although the Stair Class was active and all Graphic Attributes were set to Stair Class at that time. All other Render Modes seem to work. With Classes set to Show/Snap/Modify, OpenGL works well. (But Face Orientation of stairs exported to DXF/DWG and even FBX is so mixed up that there is no chance to align the Face Normals in a 3D package) Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
(But Face Orientation of stairs exported to DXF/DWG and even FBX is so mixed up that there is no chance to align the Face Normals in a 3D package) This is not good. I would consider mixed normals a bug. It means the stair object cannot be used for 3d printing. KM Quote Link to comment
zoomer
No, not good of course. Slabs and Windows have problems too. But for the Stairs, I informed both since 2014, CW who do the Stair Tool and VW. So it's up to them if they want to fix it or not. May be related to the fact that the Top Face of all Extrudes is flipped, which I filed as an official bug request yesterday. It means the stair object cannot be used for 3d printing. KM Good to hear that Could be a motivation as 3D printing is very "in" now Quote Link to comment
