Annoying error message

I must have seen versions of this error message at least 100.000 times since the dawn of the Powerpack.

Right or wrong, most of the time I like to draw in the screen plane mode.

I wish that the annoying error message would be changed into a dialogue – so that if I hit the enter key, all selected screen plane objects are automatically turned into layer plane objects and taper-extruded.

If I hit command-period or press cancel, the operation is aborted.

That would be nice.

Same for convert to generic solids.

I allows thought that will convert everything possible though all the time.

But last days I realized that isn't always the case.

(since 2015 SP latest ?)

It is still there, and as annoying as ever..

All screen objects are automatically deselected, so I have to select them again, then change them into layer plane, then taper-extrude them once more.

I would settle for a solution, where the 2D objects remained selected at the very least...

Yes two options fix and continue or cancel. Would be great if clipping two objects on different planes also offered to resolve the road block.
