John Miller Posted March 23, 2003 Share Posted March 23, 2003 I'm using VW 9.5.3 in OSX 10.2.4 and after leaving a document open and unused for a while I'm told "You have been placed in demo mode due to a xxxx violation" (sorry, can't remember what the word xxxx was) This leaves me unable to carry on working. I have a USB dongle plugged into the back of my Apple Studio Display. Restarting seems to solve the problem. Would rather not have the problem in the first place. Guest Posted March 24, 2003 Share Posted March 24, 2003 This is from either the Energy Saver being enabled or activated or the USB drive in which the dongle is installed going into sleep mode. If you have Energy Saver enabled, you will need to turn that off. If you have a USB drive that has a sleep function, if possible, you will need to disable it. Quote Link to comment
