JoshW
I am trying to use keynotes in viewport annotations to note elevation materials and objects. When I try to create an already used keynote in a separate viewport on the same sheet the file crashes. These are 3D elevation view viewports. The simple fix for now is to simply not to annotate my drawings in this way. This is unacceptable and these issues need to stop. I'm tired of trying to use existing workflows only to run into issues and have to adjust to the whim of the tool instead of the tool fitting my needs. I will not be advocating an upgrade to 2016 unless it is ArchiCAD or Revit 2016. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 15, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) I was unable to replicate this here in 2015 SP4 in a few test files. Does the same thing occur if you create keynotes in ANY document or just this one in particular? When you try it in a new blank document, what occurs? If it doesn't crash in all files, get in touch with tech@vectorworks.net and they can see whats going on. If it DOES crash in any file, then I recommend this: http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/885/Backing+Up+Vectorworks+Preferences Followed by this: http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/1099/Resetting+Vectorworks+Preferences Edited September 15, 2015 by JimW Quote Link to comment
