abrewin
Has anyone here had any experience with the Micro3d printer? http://store.printm3d.com/ We draw a lot of custom mill work and wanted the option to print small profiles etc. We have not had any experience with 3d printing in the past. This seems like a pretty low investment to give it a whirl. Thanks in advance for any feedback! Best, Andrew Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 8, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 8, 2015 I do not have personal experience with this printer, but for the price, I have heard its an excellent place to begin to test working with a 3D printer. A decent initial review and size reference can be found here: It looks like what you're paying for is mostly skimping on size rather than base quality, which is a good thing for just starting out. There are a lot of really bad quality cheap 3D printers out there now and this does not appear to be one of them. To get larger or more customizable in the future if you find you like it, my recommendations parallel the Tom's guide here pretty much exactly: http://www.tomsguide.com/us/best-3d-printers,review-2236.html Quote Link to comment
