There was a recent new feature which never really took off - flattened viewports.
This in theory gave you the ability to see your viewports update "live". However the resulting triangulations ruined the efficiency and effectiveness of this,
When working with two screens it would be useful to work on one screen on a design layer and have either another design layer (acting as a viewport) or a sheet layer open and updating as you draw.
