Eric L Posted March 18, 2003 Share Posted March 18, 2003 My company just upgraded all our seats to VW 10 (nice work by the way) One problem. When I open a new drawing I don't get the window to choose between a template or a blank drawing. VW 10 just throws up a new blank drawing automatically. any thoughts?? Quote Link to comment
jfmarch Posted March 18, 2003 Share Posted March 18, 2003 I'm still working in VW 9.5, but it might be the same. Once the blank window appears, do a command-N (or File/New). A little dialog box will appear allowing you to select the setup assistant document. Hope this helps... Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted March 18, 2003 Share Posted March 18, 2003 If you do not have any templates in the template folder -- which you won't unless you put some there or you have VW mechanical or VW Spotlight installed -- you will not get that dialog box. If you open a file, go to File>Save as Template and save it to the templates folder and then go to File>New -- you should get the dialog box. VW Foundation, Architect and Landmark do not have Templates files as of VW 10.1 as there is no need for them. Quote Link to comment
