ubybc
I am currently using VW 2015 mostly on a Mac. I am assisting a Windows 7 user with a 2015 installation and when I am arranging tool palettes and move anywhere near the top of the workspace, the VW palettes are trying to snap to a new size across the entire workspace. This is really annoying? Anyway to stop the resize snapping, please... help? Also, anyway to get a similar workspace as with the Mac? I like being able to manage the palette positions over the entire screen and treat the workspace window as a separate entity. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
rDesign
I use a Mac, so I'm not certain, but I believe that is the palette docking function available on Windows. If you go to Tools > Options > Vectorworks Preferences, under the 'Session' tab uncheck 'Enable Palette Docking'. HTH. Quote Link to comment
AlanW
I use Windows and you can pull the palettes to the side and they should snap to a vertical column, wherever you pull to they will snap across the screen or up and down. Left, right, top etc. If you put one over the top of the other and double click the top they should join together. Quote Link to comment
