AlanW
Hi, Refer to attached. I am doing a Section/Elevation and the wall and slab is cut in section and also viewed in elevation. Controlling all through the viewports at present I can set the hatch to show but I need show the wall in section a heavier line style without it affecting the same in elevation. Any ideas? Kevin McAllister
Alan, If I'm understanding you correctly all you need to do is edit the line attributes of the Section Style class. As long as you have the Section Viewport set to use this class to show cut elements (clicking on the Advanced Properties button in the OIP for a Section Viewport) this will thicken only outlines that are sectioned. Kizza
Alan, a long standing wish is for section attributes to be part of the class i.e. VW recognises when an object is in section and applies the class' section attributes. Maybe add it to the wishlist again.... 1 Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Kevin, Thanks, worked a treat. Changed the class for the lines showing beyond the section cut and they are light or whatever you need. So good. Thanks Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Kevin, Actually this is not what you were talking about, you referred to the Section Style, ok got it and this gives me another option. the best bit about the first one is that is shows the section material. Is there a better way or are these my options. Would like to show thick lines in section and their material hatch and the lines in the distance in light lines . Especially a slab in section and in elevation across the void in light lines. Edited July 27, 2015 by Alan Woodwell Quote Link to comment
