ashot
"The Grade tool can help to create proposed slopes, swales etc." Could anyone please give me a step by step overview of how to create new slope and swale using Grade Tool? e.g. how to make 4 different slopes in N-S-W-E directions on a given site model, say I want slopes to be 4:1, 1:1, 1:3 an 1:2 The video on youtube called "Site Modeling and Calculations" shows the slopes for case with Create pad from Grade Limits. In my case I need to have an elevated rectangular pad, I do not need an odd shaped pad resulting from the command above. Quote Link to comment
rDesign
Take a look at Tamsin Slatter's excellent webinar 'Site Modeling with Vectorworks 2011': http://download2.nemetschek.net.s3.amazo...sin-Slatter.mov The entire webinar is very helpful, but specific to your question, look at the Pad modifier for the pool starting around 30:00min, and the Grade tool starting around 40:00min. That should give you enough to get started. HTH. Quote Link to comment

rDesign
Sorry about that, somehow the URL gets truncated when not using the fullscreen reply. Try this one: Site Modeling with Vectorworks 2011 Webinar If it still doesn't work, here's the original thread where I found that link: https://techboard.vectorworks.net/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=155682 Quote Link to comment
