Hunt Architects
Apologies for novice query; I am having difficulty exporting a hidden line elevation to DWG. The problem is a hidden line render translating to wireframe in dwg. Building modelled in 3d and previously we used an elevation sheetlayer viewport as a base to draw elevation detail in annotations. This exported ok-ish to dwg. However this file is all in 3d and we want the sheetlayer viewport to export as seen. First image is as seen in Vectorworks, Second image is as seen in dwg viewer. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Quote Link to comment
Hunt Architects
Thanks to Olly at BIM tech. It was a novice query; Export settings, "Export Viewports as 2D Graphics in Model Space" should be ticked. Quote Link to comment

Tim Harland
There is also an issue if you have a hidden line foreground render and render works background - only the rendered background (+ any annotations) exports not the hidden line which is usually the bit you are trying to get as a DWG. Yes this definitely needs to be adressed! Quote Link to comment
