Probable Snap Problem

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

Please bear with me.

This is the problem:

1. Have drawn a rectangle: 1-inch wide x 6-inches high.

2. Trying to drawn a simple line from the lower-left corner to the upper-right corner. Line will not connect to the end point of the upper-right corner. The line command seems to be locked into an angular dimension of either 90-degrees or 60-degrees.

3. I have the Snap to Object; Snap to Intersection; Smart Points; Smart Edge and Snap to Angle activated. I've also tried this function with all the snaps de-activated.

I know I've missing some obvious and simple function...any ideas?

Thank you,

The Line tool has two modes, one of them, "Constrained", locks you to set angles. I believe you want "Unconstrained" mode and "Vertex" mode enabled to draw what you're drawing.
