Elphaba Posted June 2, 2015 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Good morning, I need to find an efficient way to share CAD symbols between myself and two other people, in different locations. All three of us will be making regular updates and additions. If we all worked in the same office, these files would live on a shared server. Would the Vectorworks Cloud Services work best for this sort of file sharing? Or, would leaving the CAD files on Dropbox be better? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted June 2, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 2, 2015 You COULD place a shared resource file in Cloud Services, as long as everyone was logged into it and your syncing was regular it would work fine, but I don't see that being superior to DropBox or Google Drive for that setup. Cloud Services main power is offloading rendering to a server more than it is just raw file storage. Quote Link to comment
