simbob
I have been having a major nightmare trying to get an image to display on a wall using the 'add decal' function. Have watched videos and found another post (https://techboard.vectorworks.net/ubbthr...true#Post209151) explaining it, but the Decal won't appear on my vertical wall face - it will appear on the top edge of the wall but not the vertical. I'm sure it's something to do with the mapping types, but not sure what. I have managed to apply it as a texture to a wall face but that's no good as i need to apply several images and the walls have doors and windows so using an extruded surface over the top is not an option. The video showed a 3D attribute mapping tool which made this easy to drag the texture from one face to another - does this still exist somewhere? Quote Link to comment
rDesign
Simbob- see JimW's reply to your other duplicate post on this topic: https://techboard.vectorworks.net/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=211748#Post211748 Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Just in case you have selected top rather than sides this shows how to select sides and other faces. You probably already know this but just in case. HTH Quote Link to comment
