jbenjami
I am using both 3 Cell Iris Cyc lights and 3 circuit R40 striplights in my show. How do I get the entire multi-circuit symbol to display properly using the Instrument Summary tool to create my lighting key? Currently I can only pick and display a single part of the instruments. I know there was a way to do this with Joshua Benghiat's "Savvy Symbol Key" but I cannot figure it out with WV2015. Quote Link to comment
JBenghiat
Hi Jeremy, Create a symbol with all three components, and assign the light info record (if you don't have one already). You can also use lighting symbol maintenance to add the symbol to the list. Make sure the type and wattage match for all the parts as well as the composite symbol. In the summary list, add the composite symbol (it will be flagged as unused). FYI, the composite symbol can be anything, like a shortened strip with a break line, as long as type and wattage fields match in symbol maintenance. -Josh Quote Link to comment
Benjamin Weill
When I try do do this - having all three parts AND the composite symbols have matching type and wattage - the instrument summary now counts each part as a full unit. So 1 instance of a three-cell unit reads as 3 units. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Edited June 2, 2015 by Benjamin Weill Quote Link to comment
