Christian Fekete
Is there a way to keep track of whether my question was answered? does one need to keep the topic in the watched topics? Quote Link to comment
Christian Fekete
In the same realm, is it possible to erase a forum post? Quote Link to comment
michaelk
I don't think there is a way to track whether a question is answered. Probably a limitation of the UBB software. Moderators can delete posts. If you send one of us a PM we can delete it. hth mk Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
Actually, there is a way, but it is very convoluted, and it shows how badly we need an update to the community board forum software. Here's what you do have to do: Up at the top of the page click on "Topic Options." Then select "Add Topic to your Watched Topics." Next you have to go to "My Stuff, Watched Lists." Once there you have to click on "Watched Topics," then click "Edit Watched Topics," click on "Immediately," and then click on "update Watched Topics." It's sad how much work this is, and the reason why I never do it, and I suspect no one else does either. While were at it, I'll comment again... Adding images to a post is horrible too. I want to drag and drop images into my post, and I want to click one checkbox to receive email notifications of a reply to a post. Please fix this soon. 20 minutes to create this post. Should only take a few minutes. Lots of good info never gets posted due to the limitations of this UBB software. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
As for deleting a post; Click on "edit" at the bottom of your post, and then in the editing screen at the bottom you will see "Delete Post." Quote Link to comment
Hippocode
As for deleting a post; Click on "edit" at the bottom of your post, and then in the editing screen at the bottom you will see "Delete Post." This will only work within an ammount of time after creating the post. The button will disappear Quote Link to comment
