preston bircher designs
I am doing a quick consult for a small theatre conversion--but for the rendering we need to have the Stage Lighting in view... but that turns off all of the ambient light! (aarrgghhh) So I'm throwing in some PAR's for a down houselight look... do I have to make a separate Focus Point for each of the vertical down-lights? THX... Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted March 16, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 16, 2015 You can turn the ambient lighting back on in the rendering settings or in the renderworks style under "Lighting" Multiple lighting devices can be set to the same focus point yes, but if you mean you want them to all point straight down via focus points then yes they would each need a point directly below them. michaelk
You can fake it. Instead of having one focus point for every fixture, insert one focus point with a Z value of -1000' (or whatever value works for you). hth mk Quote Link to comment
