MattG
Is there some cool way of having a document put some sort of text somewhere on the sheet that labels the sheet layer name? I have a co worker who uses the date stamp tool and in a perfect world he would like that to have a field in there that displayed the sheet layer name on it. Or maybe a field in a title block that you can link text to a record, but that record value would be the sheet layer name. Or any other potential idea someone has or uses to achieve this. Anyone out there have any good ideas on a way to do this? Matt Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Check out the included default title blocks. There are some that will do this. You need to create a title block record that references _SN and _SD. Search for Custom Title Block in the Vectorworks help for a detailed explanation. http://app-help.nemetschek.net/2015/NNA/eng/VW2015_Guide/Setup/Creating_a_Custom_Title_Block.htm?rhsearch=custom%20title%20blocks&rhsyns=%20symbol Note that Automatic Drawing Co-ordination needs to be turned on under File>Document Settings>Document Preferences.
