zoomer Posted March 6, 2015 Share Posted March 6, 2015 I think that is a real problem for BIM if you create anything else than a residential building for one family. Skeleton Structures are very common. - Columns should break walls and floors(like stairs should break holes in slabs) - Columns should work like walls when creating room spaces - Columns should not create double surfaces for visualisation/export when Arch+Structure option is not used As it is you have to draw each wall segment between the skeleton manually and the bucket for spaces will not work. As for your example, in similar cases I really did duplicate that wall style with different widths to draw the parts of the walls that are left over by the column. This will work in 98% (should do in this case) as long as it is not impossible when having too many meeting wall edges. Also I try to renounce of columns as much as I can and try to fake them with walls. That means a wall style for each column width. 1 Quote Link to comment
