Jim Smith
Can someone tell me how to turn off the WIreframe when I edit a Viewport's Annotation Layer? In a related topic, I thought I could use the 2D POLYGON Tool in the Annotation Layer on Inner Boundary Mode to fill an area. The video on the Service Select titled "Enhancing Your 2D Presentation Skills" holds this possibility out, but I've not been able to make this work. I seem to be either missing a step or don't hold my mouth the correct fashion to make this technique work. Any tips? Quote Link to comment
BG
Pretty sure you will need to tick 'save viewport cache' in the document preferences. The inner boundary polygon does work for us within annotations. Not sure why it doesn't for you? Maybe it's related to the viewport cache? Quote Link to comment
michaelk
When you edit the viewport, the dialog box that lets you choose between editing annotation, crop, and design layers has a check box for View Viewport Cache. Check that. hth mk Quote Link to comment

Jim Smith
What about a Section Viewport, can one use the same technique to make Section Viewports have info added to the Annotation Layer? Quote Link to comment
Jim Smith
... Seems to only work if an object has been made hollow, Wall Components, for example can't be messed with. Quote Link to comment
