domer1322
I could not find the old post, but several months ago I recall there was an issue for VW 2015 where it could not export pdf files correctly if used with Mac OS Yosemite. I understood Nemetshek thought the issue was with Apple, so I figured it might never get fixed. Can anyone tell me if there are any issues between Yosemite and VW 2015 ? Is there a VW document somewhere that describes any current problems ? Obviously, I have other reasons for upgrading to Yosemite on my 4 yr old iMac and I just want to anticipate any problems. zoomer
For me it is still so that a DWG Import from VW 2014 gives me much more Geometry in as if I try the same from VW 2015. Since I upgraded my old Mac Pro to a new one with Yosemite I have so many crashes and issues with VW 2015 that it feels like a totally different software. But it is not sure if it is real VW-Yosemite issue or if I simply have more complex files now or use more and different functions that I did not before, when running VW 2014, or 2015 on 10.7.5. Joe Golden ENT
In the last couple of versions of Acrobat Reader they have upgraded the security protocol, and lots of 3rd party software tags the PDF incorrectly for these versions to open them. The version of Reader that Adobe wants you to install for Yosemite has the upgraded protocol. It is a real PITA to work around this. Quote Link to comment
