Is there a command to retrieve the current text settings of the document?

One of my plug-in objects sets it's own text size for a label, and that appears to become the default after it's done executing. Within that plug-in, I'd like to retrieve the current text size to store in a variable, and then reset the text size to that as the plug-in finishes executing.

It seems I can create a temporary text object at the beginning of the plug-in, retrieve it's size into a variable, and then delete it, but I was hoping for something less convoluted.

Check out Appendix F of the Vectorscript Appendices, specifically 57, 58 and 82-85. Most of these are GetPrefInt, with a couple being GetPrefReal.

Also GetPrefString(100); will get you the active font name.
