Terence Harrison
...Vectorworks have not adopted an align too like, say, Illustrator or InDesign??? Having to do select objects, then do command =, then do all the align malarkey in the window, then press OK is just a total waste of time & the worst part of the VWX user experience for me. Unless they have but I don't know where it is. Surely I'm not the only one who aligns objects? Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee Mark Farnan Posted January 23, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 23, 2015 Have you tried the Align/Distribute context menu command when two or more objects are selected? Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
I agree with Mark. Try the context menu align options. They save time. Even so, I wish the Align Command was more like Illustrator with a key object align to function. Here's how that works: Select a bunch of objects. Click one of those objects to define it as the "key object". Click the appropriate align button in the tool bar. This is how it works in CS5. Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
You might also have a look at Quick Align from VectorBits...it's free.... Quote Link to comment
