1. Send to Surface - Wish all 2d objects could drape onto the surface via Send to Surface. Right now 2d send only works with polygons and polylines. Other types of 2d objects have to be converted to NURBS or 3d polys, then they send.
2. NURBS model, and/or interpolated NURBS model - Wish model could be formed from NURBS curve contours and that the surface is a NURBS surface or an interpolated surface. This is not to replace the current triangulated and grid based surface options. Rather, this is proposed as a 2nd type of model, an alternative way to form the surface. Advantages sought are lower vertex count for faster regeneration and rendering, smoother profiles.
NURBS surface site model might also provide other advantages - more wishing:
Direct manipulation of the surface vertices (similar to moving points on 3d modeled surfaces.
Surface creation from point cloud (eg, survey). This is already wished. Just saying again.
Acceptance of 3d pads such as troughs & saddles, crowned or rutted paths/roads (sounds like designing a ranch), . . . These last ones could be wished for existing site model, too.
