On a Macintosh VW does not fully support the Icelandic characters "þ" and "ð". Since Yosemite it can not save a file with these characters in the name. Neither can it open files saved in earlier OS with these characters in the name or inside folder with a name containing them.
Today VW support confirmed to me that this is the case.
In order for VW to function properly Icelandic Macintosh users must substitute Icelandic characters in file and folder names with some english character. This is not acceptable.
Please, Nemetschek, correct this. Icelandic VW users are going through a lot of trouble with this and there are many VW users in Iceland.
