I will I
Are there smart symbols in vectorworks for ADA sidewalk ramps, not finding anything here or anywhere else? Would be nice if there was a tool for these objects where the user could select options like winged or curbed, dimensions etc. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
I believe there is a Ramp object. Look the building shell toolkit, along with the Stair. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Smart tool would be good, but maybe genius is required. I model them and it's a pain. 2D is not so bad. 3D can be tough. The curb (often curved) mods with wing transitions , ramp slope, surrounding slope(s), warning pad, and all the other stuff are unique to each one. And, soon, the ADA guides and specs will change. I will I
Right, my thought was that selecting the curb arc it could snap to this and with minimum dimension parameters set it would just figure out the shape, the ability to set parameters would allow for changes in the ADA guidelines. Wishful thinking i guess but I have seen some vectorworks tools do some pretty amazing stuff. Quote Link to comment
