FBN
I can't seem to install VW10 on my Mac. The Mac is a dual processor runs OSX.2 and I hav e the Hasp4 dongles with matching Id's and serial numbers. However, when I install VW10.1 and try to open, it says that there is no vectorworks dongle attached to the machine. Should I be installing any extra updated USB extensions or is the CD meant to include this?! Any assistance would be great! Quote Link to comment
Guest
Do you have the dongle plugged in when you launch VW? Quote Link to comment

Now my version of VW doesn't come with a dongle, but my Microspot Graphic Pack does, and I constantly have to check to see that it is properly plugged into the USB Port and it's active (dongle for MGP lights up). It's a pain, and it's easy to lose. I lose it and Microspot will replace it for $399! Quote Link to comment
Guest
If it's a Hasp4 dongle, there should be a hole in it to run a cable tie or security cable so you don't lose it. Quote Link to comment
Guest
FBN, Check to make sure you are using the correct dongle with the correct version of VW. VW 10 should be using the Hasp4 dongle while VW 9 may have the MacHasp dongle. You can contact your local distributor to ensure you are using the correct dongle with the correct version of VW.
