johncruet
So I get VW 10 with the intent of running it in 10 and I go to run the training CD's and they launch the Classic Environment! Why don't the training sessions run in OS X in Native Mode? Quote Link to comment
Guest
The training CDs are not made by NNA. They are made by a company called In Media Res in Canada. The way they chose to make the training CDs and the software to play them is not native to OS 10. You can contact them and ask if they are planning to make OS 10 native CDs in the future. Peter Huggins
Hi, To set this matter straight, I wanted to clarify why the Training CDs don?t run native in OS X. We didn?t choose to make them in a way that they don?t run native to OS X, as was stated, but rather it was not available as an option. Macromedia Director, the standard software for this type of multimedia presentation, released an upgrade that permits OS X native ?projectors? only a few weeks ago, whereas these CDs were created last July. It?s simply one of those cases where the developers of some software packages have not made the release of an OS X compatible version a high priority. Best regards, Quote Link to comment
