Owen Walz
I'm wondering if there's any way to emulate the kind of palette toggling seen in products like Creative Suite. I find working with VW on a laptop pretty frustrating given how limited the screen real estate is, and how cumbersome it is to position, close and restore palettes. Is there a script for this? Is this a feature in the works? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted November 7, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 7, 2014 They have their own hotkeys to toggle them on and off, if that's what you mean. The shortcuts can each be found listed next to their names in the Window > Palettes menu. Do you mean to open them all or close them all at the same time? In that case, no I am not aware of a method of doing that without scripting. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
I like using the Mac window shade feature. (I'm still using 10.8. Not sure if it has been disabled in 10.9 or 10.10) Double click on the palette header and it collapses to just the header. Double clicking again restores it. It also works on worksheets. mk Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Windowshade still works in 10.9.5 Now if we could just make it work for all the palettes in one go . . . Hey, maybe this this can be system controlled rather than VWX. We need an ap for that. Super WindowShade. Bar tender! Bring me a developer and some more pretzels! -B Quote Link to comment
