bcd Posted November 7, 2014 Share Posted November 7, 2014 The Clip Cube doesn't really do this (yet?) there is a current request for a 3d crop. It creates a temporary isolation of a volume within the Design Layers. What you can do is use any of the faces of the Clip Cube to create a Section Viewport that can live in 2d on a Sheet Layer or in 3d on a Design Layer. Hover over a face>Right Click>Create Section Viewport. pepper to taste. Quote Link to comment
Joe-SA Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 I would like to see as a future feature added is that a SLVP cropping object can not only be a 2d polygon or rectangle but a 3D Extruded object with a toggle to show either the inside or the outside of the container.
